A fabulous vista in a fabulous location

A bit self-indulgent, but I had to paint a scene of Snowdon in North Wales. I love the place and am planning my next ascent with a friend in a couple of months, so no doubt there'll be some more images to reproduce in watercolour! I have some more pictures I want to paint from a climb up with my son a few years back (weather was poor though), so keep an eye out.....

I have a real fascination with painting mountains, but don't want to give the impression that that's all I pint. Far from it. But, they make wonderful pieces to hang on the wall. At least, that's what I tell my wife!
