Christiano Ronaldo's birthplace

We have recently returned from a fantastic holiday to Madeira, birthplace of Christiano Ronaldo - something that's not easy to forget when you visit!

This is the first of a series of paintings I am planning to produce, following our trip. It's the view that greeted us from our hotel garden. It was really pretty walking along the promenade looking out to sea.

The island is breathtakingly beautiful and we plan to return in the coming years, we hope!
