One Bionic Knee Later...

So, after a long period of recovery after having a total knee replacement, a few months ago I was able to sit still at my painting table once more!

After so long, I had a tinker with some oil paintings - more of which later - but then I picked up my trusty watercolour brushes and here's the result! I was browsing through one of the late (and great) Terry Harrison's books and saw a subject that reminded me of a photo I took in the fabulous Lake District. So, that was the motivation to paint this picture. Hope you like it!
