Worth the wait?

Well, the client certainly thought so! Thank goodness.

I've had quite a bit of work to manage with my day job of late, so haven't had time to do any painting but this is hot off the board! From a photo I took in Barbados, it was a tricky one to try and recreate, but the customer is pleased with the outcome and therefore, so am I!

As a contract I've been working on for the last 4 years comes to an end in a few weeks, I am expecting to have a bit more time to devote to painting - both oil and watercolour (as this one is).

I hope you like this scene and do revisit my site to view new paintings, as I complete them.
